Alocasia 'Cascadia-opaline' care

Alocasia 'Cascadia-opaline' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a trailing habit and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in medium filtered light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in coco coir with added bark. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
