Alocasia 'Cascadia-marmorata' care

Collectors know Alocasia 'Cascadia-marmorata' for its steady pace; it keeps a trailing habit even in imperfect corners.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered little and often, keeping the mix barely moist, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in coco coir with added bark and refresh the top layer each spring. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
