Alocasia 'Brevifolia-viridis' care

Alocasia 'Brevifolia-viridis' rewards a patient owner: it grows as an upright clump and asks mostly to be left alone.

Position it in low to medium light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. It prefers to be watered when the top third of the mix is dry, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
