Tradescantia 'Seraphine-viridis' care
Among the quieter members of the genus, Tradescantia 'Seraphine-viridis' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.
It does best in morning sun with afternoon shade, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.
Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
