Tradescantia 'Opaline-vireo' care
Tradescantia 'Opaline-vireo' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a vining spreader and asks mostly to be left alone.
Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered when the top third of the mix is dry, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.
It is happiest at average room humidity, potted in a chunky aroid mix. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
