Tradescantia 'Opaline-viridis' care

Collectors know Tradescantia 'Opaline-viridis' for its steady pace; it keeps an upright clump even in imperfect corners.

Position it in bright indirect light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in coco coir with added bark. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
