Tradescantia 'Opaline-perlata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Tradescantia 'Opaline-perlata' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in rich, moisture-retentive mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
