Tradescantia 'Lucida-silvergleam' care

Collectors know Tradescantia 'Lucida-silvergleam' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

Give it bright indirect light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
