Tradescantia 'Cascadia-lucida' care
Tradescantia 'Cascadia-lucida' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a trailing habit and asks mostly to be left alone.
It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.
Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
