Tradescantia 'Brevifolia-perlata' care

Tradescantia 'Brevifolia-perlata' rewards a patient owner: it grows as an upright clump and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a humid corner or grouped planting, potted in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
