Tradescantia 'Borealis-marmorata' care
Tradescantia 'Borealis-marmorata' rewards a patient owner: it grows as an upright clump and asks mostly to be left alone.
It does best in medium filtered light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. It prefers to be watered sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.
Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
