Collectors know Scindapsus 'Umbra-vireo' for its steady pace; it keeps an upright clump even in imperfect corners.

Give it medium filtered light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for 55% humidity or higher and use rich, moisture-retentive mix — roots here want air as much as water. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
