Scindapsus 'Silvergleam-velutina' care

Scindapsus 'Silvergleam-velutina' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a compact rosette and asks mostly to be left alone.

Position it in low to medium light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at occasional misting in dry rooms, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
