Scindapsus 'Marmorata-tessera' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Scindapsus 'Marmorata-tessera' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

Give it bright indirect light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered little and often, keeping the mix barely moist, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in coco coir with added bark. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
