Scindapsus 'Halcyon-silvergleam' care

Scindapsus 'Halcyon-silvergleam' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a slow climber and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at a humid corner or grouped planting; pot it in coco coir with added bark and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
