Scindapsus 'Halcyon-marmorata' care

Scindapsus 'Halcyon-marmorata' rewards a patient owner: it grows as an upright clump and asks mostly to be left alone.

It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
