Scindapsus 'Borealis-opaline' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a vining spreader within its first year.

Position it in medium filtered light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for a pebble tray in heated rooms and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
