Dieffenbachia 'Velutina-wrenfeather' care
Among the quieter members of the genus, Dieffenbachia 'Velutina-wrenfeather' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.
Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered when the leaves just begin to soften, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.
It is happiest at average room humidity, potted in rich, moisture-retentive mix. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
