Dieffenbachia 'Halcyon-silvergleam' care
Collectors know Dieffenbachia 'Halcyon-silvergleam' for its steady pace; it keeps a trailing habit even in imperfect corners.
It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.
It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in coco coir with added bark. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
