Dieffenbachia 'Perlata-tessera' care

Dieffenbachia 'Perlata-tessera' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a vining spreader within its first year.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use a chunky aroid mix — roots here want air as much as water. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
