Dieffenbachia 'Nocturne-quieta' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Dieffenbachia 'Nocturne-quieta' forms a trailing habit and settles quickly indoors.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
