Dieffenbachia 'Cascadia-nocturne' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Dieffenbachia 'Cascadia-nocturne' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in bright light with no direct midday sun and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the leaves just begin to soften; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in coco coir with added bark and refresh the top layer each spring. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
