Dieffenbachia 'Brevifolia-cascadia' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Dieffenbachia 'Brevifolia-cascadia' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in medium filtered light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for average room humidity and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
