Dieffenbachia 'Aurora-stellata' care

Collectors know Dieffenbachia 'Aurora-stellata' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.

Give it bright indirect light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for 55% humidity or higher and use rich, moisture-retentive mix — roots here want air as much as water. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
