Dieffenbachia 'Argentea-perlata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Dieffenbachia 'Argentea-perlata' forms a slow climber and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
