Aglaonema 'Aurora-velutina' care
Among the quieter members of the genus, Aglaonema 'Aurora-velutina' forms a trailing habit and settles quickly indoors.
Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.
Aim for 55% humidity or higher and use a chunky aroid mix — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
