Aglaonema 'Perlata-umbra' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Aglaonema 'Perlata-umbra' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in morning sun with afternoon shade, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in a chunky aroid mix. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
