Aglaonema 'Aurora-ember' care

Aglaonema 'Aurora-ember' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a slow climber and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
