Philodendron 'Umbra' care

Philodendron 'Umbra' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a trailing habit within its first year.

Position it in low to medium light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
