Philodendron 'Stellata' care

Collectors know Philodendron 'Stellata' for its steady pace; it keeps an upright clump even in imperfect corners.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for average room humidity and use coco coir with added bark — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
