Philodendron 'Silvergleam' care
Collectors know Philodendron 'Silvergleam' for its steady pace; it keeps a slow climber even in imperfect corners.
It does best in medium filtered light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.
Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
