Philodendron 'Quieta-velutina' care
Collectors know Philodendron 'Quieta-velutina' for its steady pace; it keeps an upright clump even in imperfect corners.
Position it in low to medium light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water when the top third of the mix is dry. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.
Keep it at occasional misting in dry rooms; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
