Philodendron 'Halcyon-velutina' care

Philodendron 'Halcyon-velutina' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a slow climber within its first year.

Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at average room humidity, potted in a chunky aroid mix. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
