Philodendron 'Ember-viridis' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Philodendron 'Ember-viridis' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in low to medium light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in rich, moisture-retentive mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
