Philodendron 'Brevifolia-silvergleam' care

Philodendron 'Brevifolia-silvergleam' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a slow climber within its first year.

Give it medium filtered light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in coco coir with added bark and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
