Philodendron 'Brevifolia-cascadia' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Philodendron 'Brevifolia-cascadia' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at 55% humidity or higher, potted in coco coir with added bark. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
