Philodendron 'Borealis' care

Philodendron 'Borealis' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a slow climber and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered sparingly, letting the pot dry almost through, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at 55% humidity or higher, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
