Philodendron 'Aurora-perlata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Philodendron 'Aurora-perlata' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Keep it at a pebble tray in heated rooms; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
