Peperomia 'Velutina' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Peperomia 'Velutina' forms a vining spreader and settles quickly indoors.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use rich, moisture-retentive mix — roots here want air as much as water. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
