Ficus 'Vireo' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ficus 'Vireo' forms a trailing habit and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in medium filtered light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at a humid corner or grouped planting; pot it in coco coir with added bark and refresh the top layer each spring. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
