Ficus 'Silvergleam' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ficus 'Silvergleam' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

Position it in low to medium light and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at a humid corner or grouped planting, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
