Ficus 'Seraphine-viridis' care

Ficus 'Seraphine-viridis' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a vining spreader within its first year.

Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for a humid corner or grouped planting and use a free-draining cactus-leaning mix — roots here want air as much as water. Propagation is straightforward from stem cuttings rooted in water.
