Ficus 'Nocturne' care

Ficus 'Nocturne' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a trailing habit and asks mostly to be left alone.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. It prefers to be watered when the leaves just begin to soften, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
