Ficus 'Ember-minima' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ficus 'Ember-minima' forms an upright clump and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

It is happiest at a pebble tray in heated rooms, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
