Ficus 'Brevifolia-cascadia' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a compact rosette and asks mostly to be left alone.

Position it in morning sun with afternoon shade and rotate the pot monthly for even growth. It prefers to be watered when the leaves just begin to soften, and it will forgive a missed week far better than a doubled one.

Keep it at 55% humidity or higher; pot it in a chunky aroid mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
