Ficus 'Argentea-viridis' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ficus 'Argentea-viridis' forms a compact rosette and settles quickly indoors.

Give it low to medium light; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Keep it at a humid corner or grouped planting; pot it in a free-draining cactus-leaning mix and refresh the top layer each spring. It responds visibly to a monthly feed through the growing season.
