Ctenanthe 'Vireo-viridis' care

Collectors know Ctenanthe 'Vireo-viridis' for its steady pace; it keeps a vining spreader even in imperfect corners.

It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water weekly in summer and fortnightly in winter; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

Aim for occasional misting in dry rooms and use coco coir with added bark — roots here want air as much as water. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
