Ctenanthe 'Brevifolia-stellata' care

Among the quieter members of the genus, Ctenanthe 'Brevifolia-stellata' forms a vining spreader and settles quickly indoors.

It does best in bright indirect light, though it tolerates brief departures without sulking. Water when the top third of the mix is dry; the fastest way to lose one is a saucer left full.

It is happiest at 55% humidity or higher, potted in standard mix cut with a third perlite. It is mildly irritating to pets if chewed, so shelve it accordingly.
