Ctenanthe 'Umbra-wrenfeather' care
Ctenanthe 'Umbra-wrenfeather' rewards a patient owner: it grows as a trailing habit and asks mostly to be left alone.
Give it bright light with no direct midday sun; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water little and often, keeping the mix barely moist. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.
Keep it at average room humidity; pot it in standard mix cut with a third perlite and refresh the top layer each spring. Under good conditions it may flower indoors, though the foliage is the point.
