Ctenanthe 'Quieta-seraphine' care

Ctenanthe 'Quieta-seraphine' is a forgiving choice for most rooms, developing a compact rosette within its first year.

Give it morning sun with afternoon shade; leaf colour fades noticeably in darker spots. Water when the leaves just begin to soften. Yellowing lower leaves almost always mean too much, not too little.

Aim for 55% humidity or higher and use coco coir with added bark — roots here want air as much as water. New leaves emerge paler and darken over their first fortnight.
